Have been asked by the missus to come up with a venue for tonight (after 10) in central London.

Just a bar with a dancefloor- maybe a bit cheesy (suitable for a 30-something bean counter). Sort of a married persons date type thing....

Google is turning up so many results I'm finding it hard to choose, so grateful for any personal recommendations..

Cheers

I quite like Sway near Holborn, they've got a few rooms so you've got a choice between a seated sort of area, rnb, cheese etc. They've also got a roller disco themed room which is quite good fun (you don't wear skates).

It can get quite busy but generally a friendly enough crowd, plenty of people in their 30's in there too. Drinks are usual London prices.

I've had a couple of good nights out in Abacus in Bank recently as well, but due to the location, I don't know how good it would be on a Saturday as I usually go out on Fridays.

Try The Langley in Covent Garden - I think it would fit your requirements quite well.

The Loop maybe? Not really my cup of tea but I would say its better than the Langley.
