As the home owner looks to have a Maserati 3200, I hope it's nobody on here, who's currently locked up for defending his family and home

Haven't we had a few threads about similar things happening recently in Manchester, is it turning into the wild west up there?
Maybe how it should be, if you break into someone's house, you leave your 'uman rights' outside, and the householder can do anything to defend their property. In the recent cases in Manchester, clearly these were not innocent little naughty school kids, but career criminals who would have gone on to cause misery and suffering to decent people for years.
Their loss enhances the world IMHO.

Us Mancs are getting rather good at this. Obviously hope no innocents were harmed.
So far ir does seem that success in on the side of the householder.Perhaps it isn't as difficult for a naive person to stab to death an intruder without having the knife taken away and used on them in retalliation as we've been led to believe?

With its noise and capacity for killing, the chainsaw has got to be the best legal burglary defence item

I might start to keep my chainsaw in my bedroom so that it doesn't get knicked out of the cellar.

I hope you can start yours faster than I can start mine. With its noise and capacity for killing, the chainsaw has got to be the best legal burglary defence item

"Hang on, Mr Burglar, I need to set the choke just so and pull the starter cord twice, then knock it off to half choke and hold the throttle just open a crack before giving it a third pull"

Floral tributes now appearing outside the burgled house.
I was a bit surprised then read the Telegraph online that the tributes were from the family of the deceased.'Relatives of Mr Jacob laid flowers outside Mr Vincent's home.
One read: "To my baby boy who will always be my baby boy. I will miss you, but never stop loving you. Mum.”
Police are thought to be inquiring as to whether the intruders broke in to try to steal the keys to the Cookes' valuable cars parked on the forecourt, a grey Range Rover and a gold Masterati
Granturismo, or if there was another motive altogether. One neighbour, James Hutton, 81, said: "If a bloke is defending his home, that’s all right. I would have killed him stone dead. It’s just defending his home like a soldier defends his country."
Another, Dave Thompson, 43, who said he would often see Mrs Cooke walking the family's Labrador dogs, added: ". I’m sorry, but if these people were burglars, they deserved what they got. You break into someone’s house, you get what’s coming to you.”
The old guy, 81, has it spot on.
