V8S battery tray

In the course of removing and replacing the battery I have realised how much newspaper is holding my battery in place and the tray has seen better days. Is there a way of getting a new one? It looks like the washer bottle top is not quite fitting correctly as well, which may explain why there is some dampness in the boot!

Another reason you may have dampness in the boot may be the drain holes in the channel where the boot lid sits. You'll be very lucky if they are still sealed to the body work and/or not blocked. In response to your starting post, you could spend the winter having a good sort out of the wiring behind the dash. I did mine last winter and despite initally creating some new problems everthing (kiss of death!) seems to be working fine now.



It's a dog's dinner under there and it's no wonder things stop working for no apparant reason.

Yep, got that problem. Sealed up as best as I could with Sikaflex or some such material.

Lots of battery trays on ebay, nothing TVR specific. Anyone know what size would fit? Car is presently shoved away out of sight, out of mind (almost)! Cheers.
