Which are generally regarded as the best cycling forums? Mainly for road/track but maybe a bit of MB'ing too.

Bike Radar seems ok, but as it's backed by a large corp (Future?) I wasn't too sure?

bike radar is ok, probably the most popular so any "what bike" threads tend to get a good response if you ask for opinions of certain
bikes. being part of future publishing is pretty useful as the magazines have their own sections so mbuk/cycling plus readers tend to have a home forum and you dont have to wade through pages of irrelevant threads.

www.road.cc is a good roadie forum and has a pretty dry sense of humour. i like it.

www.yacf.co.uk is "yet another cycle forum"

www.timetriallingforum.co.uk for tt centric stuff but has a lot of road content. these guys are fast and knowledgable

weightweenies is pretty good, lots of high end road stuff.

Best signal to noise for road for techy stuff is definitely http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/ although the moderation is rather draconian

Biggest is probably bikeforums.net, they cater for all tastes and the road section is very busy but very American biased and there is quite a lot of trolling http://www.bikeforums.net/forum.php

Another American one that is ok and a good source of info usually : http://forums.roadbikereview.com/

For the UK bikeradar forums are ok

http://www.cyclechat.net/ is quite friendly UK based and busy

Less busy is http://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php

singletrackworld is a great forum, as long you manage to avoid getting drawn into any arguments with the local big swinging ball bags

I like weightweenies as a whole, and I'm particularly a fan of this thread where people post photos they've taken while out riding. Many of the shots are quite dull and samey but there's some stunning stuff in there.
