Jump Leads

Just bought some of these.

Where do I buy the other end that connects to the battery. Havn't needed these in 3yrs of ownership, but you never know.

Car would originally have a socket behind left hand front wheel arch. May have been removed though.

If the Tuscan is similar to my Tam, then the grey end of the leads fits into an equivalent Anderson connector somewhere on the undertray. Mine is underneath the battery, just behind the near side wheel arch, should have a plastic cover on it, so may need a bit of looking. Plug in and you are connected to the battery.

Leven Technology used to a kit, it included the part you have and the connection to the battery.

On my (SE) Griffith I have the Anderson connector in the NSF wheel arch. The cables then goes through the bulkhead and are connected to the battery connectors in the passenger foot well. It was fitted when I got the car.

As you are in Hants - Racing Green list the leven kit (TVR JSC1) on their part site, so it may be worth a call...

The jump leads in your link are for the later TVR's that had an 'ANDERSON' socket mounted near the n/s outrigger behind the n/s/f wheel.
For a Chimaera (unless it has has an anderson socket subsequently fitted), you will need leads that have the standard 'crockodile' connectors and attach them directly to the battery in the passenger footwell. This is awkward but not impossible.

Probably best to have that done professionally. Bear in mind you are bringing +ve and -ve wires direct from the battery to a potential area of water ingress. There have been some nasty thermal incidents already.
