Would love to but the only car would be Mrs Inc's and I don't think that would go down very well

Well.... brief race report then:
This was also our Honeymoon btw!

Friday 7pm - meet up at Portsmouth - 40 bikes & a couple of trailers... lots of high spirits & 2 hr wait to board. Some drinks in bar - catch up with other Farsiders from previous trips & a crap nights sleep in oxygenless cabin.

Sat - set off from Le Harvre - First time Dave has ridden abroad & we're really looking forward to our first foreign trip together - brekkie in Liseux & tear up French tarmac avoiding Le Mans via cross country route - fairly uneventful apart from a small town called 'Deja Vu' from where there is no escape....arrive at hotel around 5.30pm - fantastic setting by river with swimming pool - beers in pool & relax - followed by dinner in the garden restaurant

Early start - 1 mile to track - butterflies! track briefing & 2 sighting laps. Then the track is open pitlane - and the fun begins - First off within minutes but in total there were only 5, pretty good considering this is a very technical & demanding track - but the mood is so relaxed due to the enormous amount of tracktime that there is no pressure. I had demons in the morning that hindered me, however after some on track instruction I re-focus & after lunch it all comes together again..... managing to hold my own & practise my overtakes - I found the blade awesome on the track & the only issue I had was with throttle control as it is a bit snatchy. Dave had an awesome time - the cbr600 behaved perfectly for him.
In the evening we all dived in the pool & had beer

Monday - Road riding through the Massif Central - fanbloodytastico! corners that went on for ever & hardly any traffic... hotel in Chateauroux, meal & beers with buddies. We were waved past by friendly gendarmes (very strange) & saw some stunning scenery.

Tuesday - fast ride back for ferry - 300ish miles - ending up with a meal in Honfleur before the dire P&O return ferry.... watching some road movies from an onboard cam & chilling out with all our new best friends... around 7 didn't make it as they had a run in with the law - bikes & documents impounded until they handed over 450 euros each - then kicked out & told that they had 'never been there'. Before you all gasp at the 'bentness' of it all - I must add that they were doing 150mph in a 50kph zone.

Roll on the 2 day trackday at Nogaro in August!
We met a photographer at the track who took some cracking shots & put them up online for us.

Have you seen the link I posted? this photographer just turned up on the day to 'practise' however he didn't like bikes & usually photographed cars, so perhaps didn't get the best shots possible.... give it a week or so & I'm sure more pix will go up on MotoP. We do have some wicked on bike 150mph action....

This is definately on my list of things to do next year, not so sure about the 150mph on the roads though

Indeed, I do agree, seems silly to chug along so slowly when they can't give you points on your UK licence

The clock is ticking tho on that note, is it next yr or the yr after when the euros can molest our licences just like one of their own?

Flippin' dirty sweaty foreigners, they'd all be talking German if it wasnt for our grandads etc etc etc

Anna tho your mates 150mph in a 31mph limit- eerr perhaps just a trifle excessive!!

I thought that euro wide warrants, etc could CURRENTLY be issued, so for severe offences, you're still ed over here. 150mph through a 30 zone seems a trifle impossible actually. 150 kph maybe.... Unless you were in a light aircraft and flew over the village.
