Le Mans Qualifying

All well during qualifying

No major dramas to report from Le Mans yet (thankfully). Three of the four qualifying sessions have been completed so far.

Martin Short's Rollcentre team currently stands in ninth position in the LMP1 class of nineteen cars.

The TVRs have acquitted themselves well. The 96 car has suffered some electrical problems but is running again ok now. It's notched up a 13th in class. This is the car driven by Nigel Greensall, Lawrence Tomlinson and team owner Gareth Evans.

TVR number 96 has scored a very creditable 7th in class, behind various 911s and Ferraris. Chris Stockton and Michael Caine both put in strong times. The third driver in this car is Bob Berridge.

Apparently it wasn't an electrical problem it was an engine issue. It's all been reassembled now ready to race.

Thats from the McLaren book of "electrical" failures. Hmm the McLaren /TVR conspiracy thickens.
