I've successfully brewed beer, advice on red wine please.

The latest batch of Urban Sports wheat beer has been a success, I now want to move onto red wine, I have some of the Grandparents equipment but would like some knowledge from here.

Can anybody recommend a way to get into making your own red wine, is there a set of apparatus, mix, brand, place to buy......?
