The SVA application says that I have to provide evidence of compliance with the directives to which the alarm/immobiliser was built at the time of test and "this may be obtained from the manufacturer".

Anybody know where to get this information?

Interesting. They want the spec/standard that the alarms were tested against. Maybe in the back of the manual it will give compliancy to certain standards... Not sure though.

The small manual about the alarm system that came with my UK spec C5 says that the system fitted is Thatcham Class 1 approved. Maybe you could enquire at Cadillac Europe ? A few phone calls that will be transferred many times and a bit of patience may be required !

I'm going to offer my standard bit of advice. It's probably most efficient to contact someone who does this on a regular basis. My point of contact would be Paul Strudwick of Teslayn Engineering (do a Google search). I'm sure a 2 minute phone call would clear up any confusion :-) He handled my SVA test and I didn't have to give him anything like manuals etc...

It may be that it's simply not required for the Corvette...

It's OK. False alarm - no pun intended. After looking at all these forms, you start going stir crazy and I was thinking it was a Class R for enhanced SVA rather than a Class N (left hand drive)which is the basic SVA. Oddly, for LHD, you don't have to answer the question which incorportaes that part. Weird!!!
