PhotoShop dds conversion help?

Looking to change a standard photo (.Jpg) into a dds format suitable for using as a texture in Inventor, can change the format into dds but it doesn't change the image properties to turn into a reflection.

Don't know if this is any help. It seems to be a download for Photoshop to convert to .DDs format. Never used it though.
