Hi Frankino
The UK government has just banned the export of all TVRs in the national interest so as to protect
them for future generations.
Bad timing - I know.
The UK does offer a very generous immigration policy so if you would like to emigrate from Italy
and become a UK citizen you will be made very welcome.

A new law is in the pipeline - its at the white paper stage and so will soon be in statute. This will prevent the import/export of machinery that were not manufactured in accordance with the target countries normal manufacturing criteria/laws. So a T350 that was manufactured as right hand drive wont be able to be imported to Italy where the cars are left hand drive. There are other reasons but thats just one example afaik. As with all the EU laws there will inevitably be some downsides that they havent considered. This wasnt designed as a vehicle law but for other machinery but apparently will apply
If you search on Standardisation Of Directly Imported Machinery you should find it.

Maybe if TVR had exported more cars in the past, they would still be around. That would have been in the national as well as the international interest.

Yep this is true with one exception. All TVR's can be exported with reduced prices to the Netherlands. We will take care of them. The UK government has just banned the export of all TVRs in the national interest so as to protect
