I actually saw a black one at Brands Hatch last year at the WTCC and have been trying to find one like that ever since. Anyone know of any cars for sale?

Thanks

Hi

I have a 155 widebody 2.0 16v Twinspark in dark metallic blue with original black speedline alloys which I am going to sell. Everything works plus car is lowered professionally, has uprated clutch and extensive history. Specialist service in March, MOT until Feb. A really well sorted and reliable example.

Contact me if you are interested.

None were rear wheel drive (that was the 155's predecessor the 75), the 4wd variant was called the Q4, it was sold in the UK in it's original narrow bodied guise but was only available in LHD hence very few sold, the later wide bodied version wasn't sold over here but a handfull crept over as personal imports. They all had the Fiat/Lancia 2 litre twin cam 16V turbo unit as in the Integrale/Thema/Fiat Coupe etc.

The Q4 is in my opinion one of the best cars Alfa ever made but, I prefer the 155 V6 as it's just as quick (if not a little quicker) cheaper and easier to live with.

I'll buy a Lotto ticket on the way home. wink

I've always found 155 V6s to be no quicker than the 2 litre 16 valves, it was only a 12 valve with about 160bhp and weighed more than the 2 litre 16V with 150 bhp. The Q4 with around 200bhp is much quicker, although it is about 10 years ago since I last drove one. Can't beat the V6 for sound though!

The V6 I drove had the 24V V6 from an accident damaged 164. cloud9

I posted it, then remembered it wasn't standard. You got in before I could edit the post. wink

Hmmmm, cooking fat 1.8TS 155, with a pre-GM 3.2 GTA V6 and 166 six speed box?

Now Stealth or full on DTM? scratchchin

Just got to look at the photo's she's very nice indeed. Too nice to chop about and fit a daft body kit to. And too good to be within my budget. frown

I had a 1.8 in that colour and they just look superb when the light catches them right. cloud9

Very few Q4s are running the standard 186bhp these days. The total lack of Q4 specific spares (Can't buy them new, can't pop down the scrapyard) means that when something goes, its usually replaced with a more modern alternative.

If you want to see what I mean take a look at the website in my profile, its got a Q4 register as well as loads of workshop manuals and articles about the Q4, and the 155 in general.

I will take a look at the search but am on my phone so someone might beat me to it. There was a thread a few months back where there was pictures of a UK based dtm 155 replica based on a q4

Can anyone remember it or post a link ?
