always wondered what they do with them??
Probably ship them out through Replay stores I reckon. Their stuff (hence the name) is almost all pre-listened. I bought some cheapo Ministry of Sound thing for £3.99 but one of the discs was so scratched it wouldn't play... still for £4, what do you expect!Mr Happy said:

They actually do sell them on Amazon undercutting everyone else. Google it.Mr Happy said:

£4 for a second hand CD and I'd expect it to work. They sell on Play and Amazon as Zoverstocks and someone has said they have an automatic script to beat the lowest price by a penny. A common trick used by some to get stuff from zoverstocks cheaper is to list the item that they want to buy at a dirt cheap price, wait for zoverstocks software to cut their price, cancel their own listing and buy the reduced price item from zoverstocks.

Wonder what happens if someone buys it at the dirt cheap price

I've heard of accounts being blocked because of then practice. Seems like a lot of hassle to save what would usually be a couple of quid.
I'm pretty sure that I got a cheap Rhod Gilbert DVD the other day as someone else was trying to pull this trick. A brand new seller with only 2 Rhod Gilbert DVDs for sale far cheaper than anyone bar zoverstocks.

I've used them a few times. Don't expect fortunes but some CDs have been worth 3 quid or so and they even gave me something for some old PS2 games I found in a box from when I moved 5 years ago (PS2 long gone). For a mass clear out, they're easy to use. CEX (webuy.com) often give a bit more in price but they charge you for postage - MM don't. Never had a problem with them.
