In the Costwolds for 24 hours - What to see and do?
Discussion
Hi
Will be travelling to the Cotswolds in mid to late September and should have about 24 hours to tour the area. Starting point will be Inkberrow, Worcester and we will need to stay somewhere overnight but not too worried where, but it must have off street parking.
I know there are plenty of websites out there with a 'things to do in Cotswolds' section but I'm looking for a petrolheads slant on things. So what are the great driving roads of the area?
Also what attractions are worth seeing and what is best avoided? Any recommendations for meals/accomodation?
I will be travelling from Ireland and don't know the area at all, so assume no prior knowledge
Thanks in advance

Okay, this is coming from a petrolhead who lives in the Cotswolds and regularly 'appreciates' the roads in a Porsche 964RS...
Drive up Fish Hill (lots of times)... http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=fish+hill,+broadwa... ... the uphill chicanes south of Broadway on the road towards Stow-on-the-Wold. A climb of around 200m in 3-400m on very twisty roads. Your own little piece of the 'Ring in the Cotswolds. It's simply brilliant.
When you've done that a few times, visit: http://www.legendsracing.co.uk/showroom/racingcars... Legends Racing at Bourton Industrial Park at Bourton-on-the-Water. They always have some interesting cars to have a look around.
After that, visit Bourton-on-the-Water village and the Cotswold Motor Museum... http://www.csmaclubretreats.co.uk/museum/index.php
