from Cerbera to Tuscan

Hi guys, anyone here gone from driving a Cerbera to a Tuscan? Any stories / experiences / advice?
I am thinking myself of trading in the Cerb (4.5) for a Tuscan - Cerb has been a great car for the 3+ years I've had it but I feel it's time for a change.
I did have a quick test drive of one about a year ago (Hexham HHC black demonstrator) and if I remember correctly seemed fairly similar to the Cerb. Would be looking for one second hand up to £30K as I'll only be keeping it for 1-2 years.
Quite fancy a Tuscan S in Chameleon Orange or Reflex Green

I'll be taking the Cerb up to Hexham HHC for a few jobs on Saturday so will be having a chat to Tony about it anyhow.

Have recently done the swap. The Tuscan feels a lot more planted at higher speed and the noise is outrageous.
To me it doesn't seem quite as solid (if that's a good word to describe/build/door shut etc) as the Cerbie but I don't regret it. You do tend to find you keep your eyes and ears peeled a little more due to your awareness of things going pear shaped but you won't regret it. Just make sure you shop around there are some real mutts out there. Oh yes and don't buy the first one you see!!

I bought a Tuscan at the beginning of May. Drove it for 3 weeks when someone panged into the back end. Since then I have been driving a Cerbera (hire car) so I went the other way. I'm biased because I love open top motoring, but trying to be objective ….. The Tuscan is fun to drive; everything feels good and gives a positive response. The steering on the Cerb is lighter which I think helps about town but degrades the handling at very high speed. The Cerb handles better on our bumpy B roads so you feel safer tonking down them; the Tusc is somewhat twitchy on uneven surfaces but is like being on rails on a smoother surface. The switch gear in the Cerb is a little odd, some parts being pulled out of 70’s part bins at Rover or something, the Tusc interior is more co-ordinated. Checking the oil on the Tusc is total guesswork. The pedals are better placed in the Tusc (floor mounted), making driving somewhat easier.
They are my initial thoughts; I loved the driving the Tuscan, which is a god job given that I bought one. The Cerb. I would happily give up for my Tusc back.
