laugh

I don't normally bother with "top 100" lists, but I'm quite keen on this one... being a bit of a gadget geek.

Got tired of these shows long ago. 100, why 100? Top 20 would be much better and spend some time on them. Who gets to decide as well? I wasn't consulted!

It's going to be a weird programme. The definition of 'gadget' is very vague - a bell, some scissors, etc.

Going on what these programmes are normally like the number one gadget will probably be something like an iPhone, whereas it ought to be something which has made a MASSIVE difference to a LOT of people's lives everywhere and for a long time. I'd suggest the hyperdermic syringe, the jet engine or aeroplane, the car, telephone, x-ray machine, etc, etc...

Maybe 'internet' will come out on top?
