Bit of a whinge and also to see if anyone else (dis)agrees.
So, I finally get round to watching Curb Your Enthusiasm from the start on Sky Atlantic.
They show 2 episodes a week which works well considering the show is currently up to season 8.
Sky Atlantic only have the rights to seasons 1 - 6 which means I'd need to catch season 7 elsewhere in time for when More4 show season 8 in September.
Anyways, Sky Atlantic show the first few seasons back to back but then start inserting a one month break when a season ends - they didn't use the gap to start the broadcast of another show but just filled the gap with repeats of other shows.
They have just finished showing season 5 and looks like they are taking another break before showing season 6.
Without these breaks, Sky Atlantic would have shown all of their six seasons a couple of months ago giving viewers that time to watch season 7 elsewhere ready for season 8 on More4. However, due to the breaks, Sky will be showing season 6 whilst More4 will be showing season 8.
Why do broadcasters intentionally piss of viewers with their scheduling?
Seriously, is it any wonder people turn to alternative means to watch programmes?
Anyone else notice this type of behaviour by schedulers with their favourite shows?
