if so where do you get their outfits from? chum wants to target parents who ski for cool skiing clothes for kids - where if you have some cash would you look for it - random google searches? in resorts? in certain magazines? ?

thanks

+1. I've had some really good bagains out of TK Maxx over the tears for myself. Don't know if anyone else has found in the last couple of years the but last couple of years the high end bargains have dried up in my local TK and is mostly Dare 2 Be stuff.

We buy the kids gear on eBay.

You can sell it after the trip for the same price.

You can get some very good brands for not much money.

I would never buy new gear for the kids, particularly expensive gear when it will only fit them for one week.

When I was a wee nipper, most of our kit came from C&A.

Blimey, I'm getting old.....

As has been said, a mix of takky maxx and eBay is probably where the smart/cheap money goes.

As for targeting, Sunday Times travel supplement and a website, with a decent PR agency running a well organised campaign.

I'm not sure you have hit the target audience with this thread. I don't live in the UK so can't help you with up market kids ski clothes shops.

Either Trespass or TKMax. We, like most parents don't want to spend a fortune on expensive ski stuff for the kids. Looking for good value which keeps them warm and dry and both of these places have good quality stuff at fair prices. Why pay more than you have to for some ski stuff that will be worn for a couple of weeks (3 or 4 if you have younger siblings) and then grown out of.

This is where I shop for my kids' ski gear, located in Guernsey but they ship to the UK/Europe etc. New season's stock probably not in for a month or two yet though.
