Simple cure.... Change your garage to one that knows what they are doing.

Lots of possible reasons without seeing the car which include taking the petrol cap off to sorting the sir out.

But do as it says on the label, "change your garage".

Smithy,

It could possibly be a clogged fuel filter?

In addition to above......The S series are getting long in the tooth now. So, you could be talking of internal fuel tank corrosion. On the S there is a 'sump' in the tank at the outlet to the fuel pump. You can gingerly tap off the seal/retaining ring and look inside the 'sump' and inspect the internal filter.

When I did this on my V8S a load of rust flakes/swarf/other debris came out. I was amazed the pump could get suction at all. At that time I spoke to Adrian Venn and he concluded that long term, a replacement tank was probably inevitable. (Mind you, Frosts do a tank refurb' 'kit' that you can slosh around the inside).

The little sump inspection is not a difficult job, just remember to have the tank empty and ideally use non-sparking tools. (I made a drift out of flattened 12mm copper pipe.)
