Seriously thinking of going back to Croatia next year (June time), used to go to the former Yugoslavia for holidays when I was a child and have some fond memories of the place/people/etc.

This will probably be our first trip with our child (due in 4 weeks) and I'm just wondering how many of you have been in recent years? We are thinking of splitting time between Dubrovnik (3 nights) and Hvar (7 nights), any accommodation recommendations? We like good hotels.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I went last year to both of those areas. We didn't stay in hotels, we rented a villa instead. Unfortunately I don't have the details I'm afraid as another member of my party sorted all that out, but it was an awesome holiday

I recently visited Krk island and it struck me as a perfect place for a relaxing family holiday. Lots of nice villas/hotels around there as well. Beaches are mostly rocky though.

Went to Plitvice National Park last year, many chalets around there to rent. Very beautiful place (google image it) and buggy friendly too.
