How loud is your S inside?

I borrowed the sound pressure meter from work last night, and monitored the sound level in the car on the drive home.

Cruising along the motorway was reading about 87dB, and giving it a few beans when accelerating on the A-roads got it up to 96dB ! No wonder I feel a bit deaf after a journey, but it's worth it for the noise. Forget the radio, exhaust note is far better

With the top up you can have a conversation up to about3krpm after that you have to shout much more and your concentrating to hard to talk anyway but around 4 k with the top up is very loud much louder than my mates old s2 I call it the banshee

My lad has named the S "the growler" mine is glorious at 3k.

This was roof up, motorway was about 3000 rpm, and max was about 4000 to 4500 on A-road. It seems a lot louder with the roof up, the cabin space resonates at certain rpm, have to shout to have a conversation at 3000 rpm+
Sound meter was wedged between the seat and transmission tunnel, on peak hold A-weighted for those who are interested.
Either way it sounds like music to my ears and I'm sure the guy behind gets a load from the exhaust. Thanks to TVRs design the exhaust is aimed directly at the drivers face behind
