roof cover?

Does anyone know of a roof cover - for when the roof is folded down?
Does such a thing exist?

Roy, that cover looks excellent. Does that cover also provide a 'bonnet' over the hood when it is up, to keep the leaks at bay! If so where did you get it from, I would certainly be interested.

I left my Leven cover on once with the roof off. There was a thunder storm and it filled with rain like a plastic swimming! Getting if off the car with gallons of water in it was a laugh and a lot of water ended up in the car. Roy's cover on the white one above is a good idea because it will allow the rain to run off. Be careful

It is a Hamilton Classic Convertible Top Cover. Size is small or "MG/TR".



The straps hook on to the wheels via soft plastic hooks. There is also a strap which connects the two sides of the cover, passing under the car, but I cut it off as I didn't find it necessary and it was a pain to use. Very light, but completely waterproof with hood up or down (You will however get a small "lake" forming on the cover if it rains while the hood is down. The side windows need to be up to provide some tension). Packs very small.

There were a very small number fitted as factory extras, the cars have press studs fitted.

It looks very neat in real life

Seriously though - the photo is of SJS357's V8S, parked next to mine at SCH2011. A very neat cover, and the only one I've ever seen.

Talking to Simon the other day, he has had a new one made (couple of tiny marks on it, fuss pot ), chap used the old one as a pattern without taking it apart.
