Time to grow up Thom. It was funny at first. Now it's just boring and mildly irritating.

Sorry, I'm not in the mood for it. I come on here for information, news, and good banter, not to be the victim of your juvenile narrow-mindedness.

Enough already.

Thom, There is one particular merc I think even you would admire. It's called the Brabus Sport Coupe. Imagine a golf sized hatch with a 6.1 V8 pumping out a phat 420 ponies. The daddy of understatement.

p.s

Don't reply if you don't like it though! Yer cheeky little bugger!

Ok as that turned into a slagging match here's a real "one for Greg" and the only reason I'm putting it here and not in an email is it also shows PH works in building "communities"

Greg, you know the server probs which you helped me with well I think I have just about got all the info off I need and I'm now looking at the next stage of installing it for my use along with setting up the network and putting in loads of other shite as well. Now knowing that you are "northern" in the nicest sense of the term and also under contract as far as the 9-5 is concerned I've spoken to Carzee about doing the on site stuff and we have nearly got a deal done (Carzee I'm finalising the software deal and getting cabling done at the mo but will need to talk some more about the pos' of using exchange on the server and a few other bits but it looks like a goer) I did this all from looking on the IT freelance types thread and I guess it will help out for you having other clients for the IR35 shite. Anyway If carzee's doing the install and commissioning along with a health check on the server I think it should be as straight forward as a wipe it and reinstall type job. However if it's not I may well be sending it up to you for a rebuild but I think we might be home and dry (fingers crossed)

Anyway I wanted to keep you in the picture and say publicly thanks for your help on it earlier and I think your a good egg (alright a grumpy one by the looks of it today ) and to every body else PH works you meet the most useful contacts on here even if most of them are IT geeks.

Oh yes anybody need any shopfittings, sheet metal fabrication, race bike exhausts or poncy stainless steel kitchen tiles I've got companies that do each (if the geeks can do a sales pitch why shouldn't I) and while we're at it any good website types out there this one will be coming up for a complete re do fairly soon get tendering www.metalkitsch.co.uk

Thom,

Don't cop the hump but Greg had a point here. We all like the banter but the picture you posted the link to was a bit much. Wrecks which have obviously been 'fatals' have not really suitable as humour.

Cheers,
JSG.

....kind words Mel, thank you. And everyone else.

For the record, I'm no different to any other guy or gal on here, apart from perhaps a slightly over-optimistic faith in human nature, and willing to lend a helping hand.

Wish I'd known about your bloody poncey tiles business last October, Mel. We ended up buying marble floor tiles for the kitchen because we couldn't find a supplier for stainless tiles. Poor fitter had to cut every bloody tile, at half an inch thick - he was cursing me for weeks !

Thanks again

Ah, I thought that I was missing something - there is no longer a link to a picture. There was me thinking that I am just being thick - then again....

Still - a bit mean either way.

Cheers,

Paul

P.S. Are there many salaried people on this site? Or are they all contractors, consultants or own their own company?

Paul,

The link was edited out 'for reasons of bad taste' in the first post.

So, you're not thick and I'm salaried.

Cheers,
JSG.

Stu, confession time:

When I took my copy of Photoshop in to work to get copied (too tight to use a blank here at home), I got mugged for it ! I get it back on Monday, complete with your very own, so it'll go out early next week, I promise. So...blame work - we get all the MS Select stuff so when something decent and non Microsoft comes in, it tends to do the rounds.
For trial purposes only, you understand

Got your clutch sorted yet ?
