went out for an EPIC ride on Sunday - always keep my eyes out for crap in the road or on the verges - came across an official looking polystyrene "human samples" box - whatever the fk that was?!?!?!?

Regularyly come accross bolts, screws, tools and CD's - so . . . whats the weirdest stuff you guys have seen dumped on the side of the road?

PICS would be brilliant!

Dead stuff usually - Thousands of pheasants, grouse, deer - now their smell is like nothing on earth after a few weeks of decay, and my greatest ever find was a Suzuki Vitarra Jeep on its side down an embankment off a forest track complete with damsel in distress.

This really isn't what I have seen dumped on the roadside but I did ride by two horses the other night getting it on ...

did make me chuckle in a childish way...

Always see some orange squash in clear plastic bottles, very tempting on a hot ride hehe

Must say puffing and panting up a hill is horrible when you ingest a mouthful of putrid air from something rotting in the hedgerow.

I was cycling along a bridle path when I passed a bloke looking shifty with what looked to be a porno mag hastily tucked under his arm.

When I got round the corner I saw loads of pages of porn arranged in a big circle beside the track. The centre of the circle looked big enough to sit in.

I rode past a massive black rubber cock down by the Medway a year or so ago.

.........It had gone by the time I rode back!

I remember one time when my brother and me had to climb a very steep bridle track past a severely decomposed sheep. On a hot summer's day...

when was this? 1990? I honestly haven't seen a real gentlemans periodical in the wild since I was a young un. It was a thrill to find that first dog eared sliver of neon coloured parchment with a tantalising skerrick of minge or boob, knowing that the mother lode would soon be within your throbbing grasp by night fall!

It saddens me that I'm probably of the last generation to go looking for porn in bushes.

2 dead foxes this morning, next to each other! stunk to high heaven!

the odd bit of car, like exhaust clamps are ones to avoid, did once see a complete brake assembly from a bike, kept an eye out for a crashed cyclist the rest of the way home....

single items of clothing, like trousers and socks. suppose i should stop cycling around dogging sites really....

always surprised to see random stuff on major roads like the A420 from Chippenham to Bristol. hypodermic needles, plastic fuel containers, car batteries (why would you stop somewhere long enough with the lights on to get a flat battery?... suppose that goes back to the first point!), used to cycle past boxes full of telephone directories thrown into a ditch which always made me chuckle.

havent found a jazz mag in years frown

Yep they were halcyon days alright! Long golden summers spent in the early 90's tooling around the countryside on some super heavy early mtb or bmx with a black widow in back pocket. Always with eyes to the side, in the hope of finding some discarded "Knave" or other such classy gentlemans publication of the time - they were surpsisingly common. Those days sadly disapeared with the advent of the internet, its no wonder todays yoof are so bored that they have to resort to trashing the town centres.

Rode past a (supoosed shy) Adder sunning itself in the middle of a deserted backroad last weekend, it was so shiney I assumed from a distance it was plastic or a toy but it turned and hissed as I approached.

Back in January I was riding on a very damp, foggy day up in the hills on another empty backroad and found a large furry Pokemon toy sat in centre of the road, must have been 3miles from the nearest farm/village, totally random and not at all what I expected to see loom out of the fog ahead of me :-)
