It's been a while so I took some photos of my mate's Evo 9

Been a while since I had the SLR out unfortunately... Camera phones and compact cameras are so handy these days

So I decided to rectify this by taking a few photos of my friends Evo 9, as he is wanting some decent snaps before he sells it. I thought it would be good photography practice for me!

What do you think? Comments welcome!

The indoor photo's look great but as said, the outdoor photo's look a bit over played with.

I take on board the comments about processing and I agree, however my friend did ask that they be quite dark, dramatic and HDR looking so I obliged and turned up the processing

That car looks amazing! Have you got the originals at all, so we can see what those look like?

Yes, I have the originals. I will post the pre-processed versions of the above tomorrow for you to look at.

I love the car too. Not only does it look fantastic, it is also immaculate, well fettled, and ballistically fast. Never really liked 4 cylinder turbocharged Jap stuff but I've been in this car countless times now and it never fails to blow my mind with it's staggering pace and road holding! It's also sadly for sale due to the arrival of a Makinen edition.

Nice shots but yeah, way too much HDR for me. If your friend wanted them dark and atmospheric then tweaking the blacks and playing with the curves in PS after a light HDRing would probably look loads better. IMO of course.

There's a few places like that round here
