Some b*****d ran into my Tuscan when it was parked outside my house & didn't fess up. The car is chameleon blue so costly anyway. I know panels can be sprayed to match the main body of car no probs, but the scrape is on the rear wheel arch so is effectively part of the main body panel of the car.
Am concerned insurance co may not be happy about repraying 3/4 of car for an 8" scrape & may only agree to get someone to match it in across a panel; a concern as there are no seams. Anyone ever had a similar problem, if so what happened?

Due to the way Chameleon paint works its a lot easier to spray a small section of the car than it is with a flat paint.

With Chameleon there is no line created as the light naturally falls on the panel because of the clever bits in the paint.

So whilst the paint is damned pricey, the reduction in labour should offset it a bit...

cant reccomend Ewelme Coachworks enough for this. They did a localised repair, which sounds identical to what yours needs,to my griff.Result was invisible.Im pretty fussy with paintwork to say the least(used to judging concours in the past),and i have to say their work was amazing.Oh,and no im not connected in any way, just pleased to be able to reccomend them.
