Hello all,

Does anyone know what the difference is in lift/duration/overlap etc. between the 2.5 and the 3.0 cams?

Thanks for that.

The cams themselves must have the same fitment though - the car I'm looking to buy is a 3.0 but apparently had 2.5 cams installed as a mod by the factory along with with t28's.

Just wondered what the differences are, and so what effect (if any) they will be having.

Regards

Graham

simple mod is to fit ST220/ST24 cams from a Mondeo on the inlet

i do not know the difference in duration / lift etc

but would expect the ST220/St24 to have a hotter cam

On a 3l the cams are st220 as std? Timing varies though.

No it's blue, but there is a hint of purple in it, and yes, TrafficStar (I think?) wheels.

You do probably know it as it used to be owned by a PH'er - Twerlie.

I had heard good things about the engine in your car, also that it had 2.5cams.
