There are a couple of Run What Ya Brung days at Shakespeare Raceway near Stratford on Avon. These are; 1st and 2nd October also 29th and 30th October.
Some good fun was had by those attending the TVR shoot out at Santa Pod in July and some novices [myself included] are keen to have another go. Anyone else?

I could/would like to do the early October run but I can't comfirm because work does tend to get in the way of so many plans. It'll be last minute if I do. I definately need the practice.

Might be a good opportunity to test mine - if it's ready. Timing will be tight - new brakes, wheels, tyres & Steve G setup expected end September. Might/might not be final mapped by then.

if it's ready I'm in

I'll be up for this Mac, assuming we have a car between us! Early October will be the safest bet and probably just do Saturday as Sunday was way too busy. Tried posting on the WWM section of the TVRCC forum but too much polishing and nob sucking going on to be interested in driving. Too scared me thinks.
I've got 25 more of each, bhp and torque, than last time so hopefully get slightly better times. Still may get soem R1R's too as getting bored of the Dunlops as I think they're going to kill me.

Not yet, Im currently fitting my new rad / intercooler set up so I dont have to push it up to the start this time biglaugh

There are a few new compounds comparable to the 888's but cheaper but will have to make a decision soon. Or get me some drag radials and change over when there, decisions decisions...

Cool, so far;
BRUMMIE, gotta see that car go in proper style and drive shafts in one piece which will be good press for supplier, also people just have to see the quality of that install bow
AJP70, we all need practice be good to see you.
JAMMY, EVERYBODY wants to see that car and I along with everybody there will want to see it do well.
DBV8, The guru, good to have you at hand with good advice as always and beds made up.
HAIRCUTMIKE, Be nice to meet you at last and sure Brummie will want to see his old car do well.
FLIPFLOPGRIFF, yup with you, think they're scared or it's beneath them. [thought TVR's were about acceleration] scratchchin
NEAL1980, you're always in, you wanna get out more.

Anyhow, weather permitting Sat 1st looks favourite then Sun 2nd if better weather and there's always 29th and 30th for reserve as not much going on then and you never know we may be lucky with the weather then too. No matter what the results will be good to see all.
Now, anymore takers??

Aw thanks Mac, nice to know not everyone hates me...

Oh, hang on, just read it again ...... You want THE CAR to do well wink

TBH i might well come even if the new wheels, brakes, tyres aren't on. Would rather smoke my old tyres than the new ones. And I'll have an excuse handy in case of 12.5 or worse.

Be nice to meet all you reprobates too

Yup, THE CAR hehe only jokin' anyone who spends time and effort in making a TVR quicker is cool by me, Oh and I'm a fan of Jamies work too, good bloke.
PS; from what I've seen so far [without bullst] 12.5 is well respectable.
