at silverstone today

I was there in my yellow convertible (managed to park outside Race Contol). Spoke to Nadine about TOTB and Steve about the Saint Jacques meet. Saw your car there but I don't think you were around at the time. I was wondering why Vipers and Mustangs had been invited but there we no Corvettes. My gut feel is that our club was probably approched but declined. Shame as that was one of the best race meetings I have been to for a long time.

we spoke to the organiser Rose, who organised the free passes and weekend tickets, she wrote to 60 odd clubs in march(left it late) and only got 6 replies.

We weren't on her list either but Steve K is a member at Silverstone and he got us in, other club members are there tomorrow
