Spanish Baggage Handlers to strike

For the first time ever we're off to Menorca on 19th August.

The Spanish Handlers are striking on 18th (to coincide with the Pope's visit to Madrid) and the 26th - the day we come back.

So, I assume it's not just the baggage crew but ground staff, security etc who go on strike?
What would this mean to us - just a big 24hr delay and then put on the next available with spaces, flight?

(we have 2 kids with us, aged 9 & 5 - that'll be fun...)

There was supposed to be a meeting between the unions and the airport authorities today to try and resolve, cant find anything though...
