S2 nearside mirror damaged..

Going to get some bodywork sorted soon and thought I may as well put a new n/s mirror on her as the one currently fitted is damaged.
Am I right in thinking they are from a MX5 ? If so which particular model or year ?
Anybody got one for sale ?

The original part/s is from Citroen CX - like all things of this age they're getting hard to find. About 18 months ago I tracked one down from this company.

Yep as lond as it isnt 'bunny ears'

If you have still got 'bunny ears' it may be a good time to upgrade ? I recommend mk 1 mx5 mirrors work a treat and look fine and easy to fit

Any photos of before and after changing mirrors to compare ?

Bunny ears are the frankly useless mirrors that connect to the doors with a ball jointed aluminium arm shrouded in a rubber sleeve they need to be cut off and two new holes drilled to fit the mx 5 items. I removed the door card end used bolts others have used plaster board screws .
