Just seen the advert for this, seems like an interesting idea. Western/Alien crossover.....

its a pretty good film. i thought it was going to be a cheesefest but was pleasantly suprised.

just watched it for a second time (while sober) and its a pertty dam good action film. lots of old west violence and thats even before the aliens turn up!
well cast, well acted and shot.

It is a st name because it's not called Cowboys vs Aliens its called Cowboys AND Aliens But everyone calls it Cowboys vs Aliens, even the OP called it Cowboys vs Aliens. It should of been called Cowboys vs Aliens

Ahh, You just reminded me of my childhood, almost forgotten - playing out from dusk 'till dawn in the woods, playing 'army'.
What do my two kids spend their holidays doing? Son on Runescape all day and night and daughter with her Blackberry spot-welded to her had 24/7, getting pretend updates from pretend friends...

Saw this last night. It could have so easily been terrible but they did manage to actually make a good film. The Harrison Ford character was a pleasant surprise - not the cliched 'cruel rich landowner' that I was expecting at the beginning.
