Anyone got a datatool system 3 alarm?
Discussion
I have one on the blackbird.
The most useful settings are as follows:
To turn off the motion sensor (ferry mode);
When armed the LED flashes 1 time per second(automatic when alarm is on). To disarm the motion sensor (alarm on ignition off) press the left button the LED will flash 1 time per every 2 seconds and you should hear a different beep.
To put the alarm into service/Valet mode (allows you disconnect the battery and is useful for when fiddling with the bike) ;
With the system disarmed and the ignition on, press the right button. The bike should then beep once every 15 seconds or so. Bike is totally unprotected in this mode.
Hazard warning lights; ignition off, alarm on, press both butttons for 3 seconds.
Change siren; eneter service mode and leave igntion on, press left buttton for 3 seconds then again for tones 2 thru 8 , choose tone, turn ignition off and press right button to accept.
There's more , but I'm bored now
Alternatively , you can view the instructions here,
