Ok, now I have some power back after my 11 hour power cut

Here are a few photos and questions which are bit more modern (well they are in colour at least ) to get the brains working this Friday, not too difficult, I'm saving those ones for now

Photo 1.

Easy one to start with, I want the car, the year and the driver........oh and the circuit too for the full set?

Photo 2.

Ok, for this one I want the name of this F1 car, the driver and what is unique about the car?

Photo 3.

Driver & car of this risque sponsored team?

Photo 4.

Finally some drivers to identify. Name all of them, how many World Drivers Championships in total are there and who are the champions and in which years?

He's not right on all of them though. And I'm not going to say on what to add a bit of suspense

Photo 2

Is that the minardi that started on the front row? (Due to its super sticky Pirelli tyres).

2nd photo...

In 1989 it actually led a grand prix, the Portuguese, although only for 1 lap.

"Lois - the name on everyone's hips".

Or so the ad used to say.

Is "Lois' car" the Minardi with the prototype Subaru motor? 1990, I think.

It says Subaru on the side.

Lois was a brand of jeans - by the way.

Some of you are getting there but I see no 100% correct answers for 2 questions, I'm not saying which 2 though.

Keep guessing.

I'll post the answers at 4pm.

Okay, It's Paul Stewart in a Jaguar Ford At the Silverstone Complex. It could well be Jackie actually, but I'm not sure.

It's not Jackie's tartan stripe - which was Royal Stewart.

I was only guessing.

It is Keegan though - it says so on the car and his dad's company British Air Ferries (BAF - late lamented users of the Aviation Traders Carvair) is one of the sponsors. Presumabley running in the British Aurora F1 series in 1978/79 or thereabouts.
