Studio flash lights...

I'm thinking of buying some budget Lencarta studio lights for my own use - general portraits etc. nothing high end.

has anyone used them?? was looking to pick some up second hand but those are rare!

£300 to lencarta i guess!

I have a set of the Safari heads, ring flash and battery pack. The heads are great, a bit warm on the WB according to their spec (I found I was needing 4900k a lot) but you shoot RAW for a reason, right?!

Have used the fixed non portable heads in studios and same thing - reliable and consistent enough even though warm still

Make sure you get decent stands if you go for soft boxes. I have one of their Octas and it bent the first stand I put it on!!

I managed to pick up some Bowens - a set of two

i've read about them and they are soemthing i can build on accessory wise.

s fit seems to be standard too

cant wait to give them a full on spin with a model
