Was it the last time Ferrari won the constructors championship before their current 5 consecutive wins?

You were born in 1982 and in 1983 they finally realised what you were?

Skirts were actually banned for the 1981 season. For the 1983 season, all underfloor aerodynamic tricks (sidepods, curved undertrays - things like that) were banned. All F1 cars had to have flat floors. This was a bit of a bummer for the teams as the rule changes were announced in November 1982. Most of the teams were well advanced on their 1983 designs - all of thenm intended to run sidepods and aerodynamic undertrays.

1983 - first Honda turbo engine (the lamentable Spirit Honda car).

1983 - Ayrton Senna's first test in an F1 car (the Williams).

1983 - last non World Championship F1 race (for current F1 cars, of course) - the International Race of Champions at Brands Hatch.

1983- last win for the Cosworth DFV engine (number 155).

The last time a non-championship round was held during the season (Race of Champions - Brands Hatch. Won by Rosberg, Danny Sullivan was second by a whisker IIRC).

I have the whole of the 1983 International Race of Champions on video. BBC2 showed it live that Sunday afternoon. Those were the days. It featured a great drive by Sullivan and a dramatic debut by the Spirit Honda (which blew up spectacularly after a few laps) in the hands of Stefan Johannson. It was Honda's first F1 race since 1968.

A free trip around the Brands Harch GP circuit to emulate Keke Rosberg's epic drive.

Or maybe I'll have to satisfy mtself with looking at my 21 year old video recording of the race.
