F1 test day pics from today

Didn't seen any Merc engine problems (for a change!), but Mikka did spin going through the complex just after lunch..
One thing I could quite clearly hear yesterday, was pretty much every driver (when they were on a quick one) was changing down the gear box, 2 gears in fact, mid corner going through Priory (The next left hander after Bridge). I know they have semi-auto box’s and various electronic devices, etc, etc. But surely the basic physics still apply to these cars. I would have thought it better to keep the car balanced through the corner, as mid corner gear changes would unsettle the car… Maybe not in the case of F1 cars though…?

Looking at your photo DSC_0123 reminded me just how much kerb Button was using on the exit of Bridge.
That BAR did look awesome through the only fast corner that we poor public were allowed to see.

You can stand at Copse as well, and they're simply awesome through there. Kimi had a HUGE moment on his first full lap on Thursday. How he kept the car on the track God only knows
