Hi,

the wheel nuts on the car appear to be rusting where the top-layer of paint has rubbed off (it would appear they aren't solid stainless steel), is there any silver paint I could use to get a new, smooth surface which is strong enough to resist the wheel brace / taking the nuts off?

I was going to get new nuts, but cost is quite high > £100 for Shiny ones

cheers

To be honest stainless is not a very good material for wheel nuts anyway. I'd just wire brush them and use a two thin coatings of silver hammerite. Cheap, and perfectly adequate.
