Quite simply Choudrey is a prick. How exactly they are going to enforce their little sticker proclamations, I don't know. Ian Islamic emirate, indeed. Good luck with that, Choudrey.

"Scotland Yard is now working with local councils to remove the posters and identify those responsible for putting them up."

Well his picture is in the paper....

"The bright yellow messages daubed on bus stops and street lamps have already been seen across certain boroughs in London and order that in the ‘zone’ there should be ‘no gambling’, ‘no music or concerts’, ‘no porn or prostitution’, ‘no drugs or smoking’ and ‘no alcohol’."

So, who wants to bet me £10? I'll play some rave bop st though me old skool blaster while reading a wk mag, for good measure I'll shoot up some heroin while smoking pot & getting pissed. Place your bets.

Honestly.

It's like the much missed Nuclear Free Zones beloved of lefties everywhere in the Eighties, utterly imbecilic. What about background radiation?

"Choudary, who runs the banned militant group Islam4UK, warned: ‘We now have hundreds if not thousands of people up and down the country willing to go out and patrol the streets for us and a print run of between 10,000 and 50,000 stickers ready for distribution."

No Choudary, you don't. You really don't. I wrote this prick's Wikipedia page (in the interests of balance after I'd done the page of that other nutter, Griffin). His life is a litany of self-aggrandisement.

Very true, the list of things he hasn't done is getting long.

Does Choudry work for the Mail or something? They're the only paper that laps up this bilge.

I know from bitter experience that he'll fail. I've been banning people from the "Fantastic Moments" thread for years and everyone just ignores me.

Everybody laughed when it was "Passport to Pimlico".

Why can't we laugh at this?

that looks like one of those visual trick faces that you can turn upside down and it looks like a different face the right way up.

ETA if he's their photogenic spokesperson, what on Earth do the backroom boys looklike?

It's a good point. It's a bit of a symbiotic relationship.

I've yet to come across a muslim who takes anjem choudry seriously. He may speak for his gang of about 20 boys but that's about it.

He does more harm to the muslim community than anyone else because he's always in the news and quite frankly most people just want him to go away. He's an embarrassment. I don't know why the media give him so much attention.
