Hey all,
My 2.5.vibrated when accelerating hard.
It feels like it comes from the rear and feels like driving on 2 flat tyres.
If I gently accelerate, no issue.
Any clues?
One day I'll drive it and nothing goes wrong.

mine did this recently when I bust the CV joints... got progressivelly worse but I had destroyed the CV's pretty badly so not sure if it would feel the same if they just wore out?

Cheers Andy,
The car has spent a lot of time in rolling roads, maybe this caused it, I'll check out for splits etc, are they easy to fit?

mine had loads of play between the shaft and the joint, it was really obvious when you grabbed them... RR arnt usually that harsh on the shafts but could be them

there is a short driveshaft on one side of the gearbox that feeds the rear driveshaft, the bearing is prone to failure where the two driveshafts meet - quite easy to fix

(my advice is to actually get it back on a load bearing rolling road and hold it at say 3000 and then gradually increase load - you will be able to clearly see where the problem is)
