This may have been covered before and I recall something about access to the boot from a couple of months ago however I've done a search on FAQ'a but can't find the answer - so please excuse me if I am asking something that has been covered before.

Boot catch appears to have failed. I have opened the boot a number of times before but now-despite trying the sweet spots ( this one appears to have two) nothing happens.Get real close and you can hear a click-just as you would expect from a switch- but thats all you get.

It could be a fuse I guess but if anyone has experienced the problem I would appreciate the help.

The big problem I have is I have to street park tonight but the covers in the boot-and if I can't top up tomorrow I'll have to leave it all day as I am down to a 20 litres

I think I know how to get in, but I don't want to put it to the test and find it does not work when I'm trying to fill up with fuel at 11.00pm one night.

Could someone please drop me a line on how to do this too?

TIA

It's the 5th fuse from the right (assuming you are up side down in the footwell) at the end nearest the engine. It is a 15 amp fuse and blue in colour. In the hand book it's notated as Boot light etc... I know I have literally just had the same problem and it worked a treat.

Very many thanks to everyone for the helpfull advice. It turns out to be a faulty switch which the TVR centre sorted out in under an hour. Just a light press now and she opens up a treat.
