I Need some advise please.

A couple of months ago I started a new job and I had what I thought was a small disagreement about a work project with one of my team members, anyway there was some tension between us so I did the right thing and apologised to make sure I did not upset that person. A week passes and the next thing I know this person is talking about me behind everyone back, and is making it a bloody pain in the ass to work there. I'm not to sure what to do, most of the time I get on great with people. It's getting to the point where it's not funny anymore and it's just pissing me off.

Any advise on dealing with two faced people.

Confront them. As in "Whats the problem with me?" I did it many years ago & the bloke had a lot of respect for me afterwards.

She obviously fancies you. Confront her and offer to smash her back doors in...

Ignore her. That'll raise you above the situation, and drive her crazy.

Get one of those jobs where there isn;t any oestrogen - IT, engineering, that sort of thing.

If only it were so...

OP - with it being a spiltarse you have trouble, if it is causing you real problems and seeing as you are a fairly new employee, I would advise you to ingratiate yourself with her for the time being. Women are easily flattered so put yourself to the task of getting in her good books, then when she leasts expects it frame her for fraud/huge IT security breach/rogue emails from her etc.

Get used to it. In life, some will love you, some will hate you. So what. If you are being a decent chap then others will make up their own mind. Likewise if you're being a total fkstick, people will see that to. As for her, so what, she's got a big gob. Stoop to her levels if you must, or rise above it and just get on. Your call.

It's hard to tell but your colleagues are more likely to know she is already two-faced or of difficult personality because of their history of working with her and they won't think ill of you.

If you're doing a good job just keep it up and your colleagues will respect that and you'll get the job done well smile
