Can you name the correct circuit?

Looks like Mallory Park with the circuit coming down from the right in the background, but I don't recall pits buildings like that.

i think it has to be Crystal Palace. I dont recognise the circuit as the track appears to come from the right of the photo and can only think of Oulton Park having the same configuration where cars come out of a left hander onto the start/finish straight. I dont know too much about Crytal Palace only that it was used in the 60s and that would fit with a GT race featuring E types and a gorgeous 250swb lurking around the second row!

That looks like the old Oulton Park footbridge in the background.

Correct. Although Pablo mentioned it in his script, he was non-commital. Shame on you Pablo.

Found out the year is 1961 but no trace of who the drivers are yet.

I reckon Mike Parkes and Graham Hill on the front row - Salvadori possibly on the second?

Year would be 1961 and I have a feeling its the race debut of the E-Type (which won).

I`m not sure I`m comfortable that I know this!

I might delve into my old "Motor Sport" collection to see what I can find - later.
