Things like The Ladders et al. Are they worth it or a waste of money and time?

Anyone ever noticed more succes applying through these and are recruiters more likely to find individual matching their requirements more accurately?

Sounds like a scam to me, why would you pay to apply for a job? The recruiter is paid by the employer.

I don't think I've ever heard of someone paying to apply for a job.

It happens sadly, like the aspiring model/singer/artist etc etc. Desperate times create desperate measures! If you're good, the recruiters will find you, for free! Good luck!
