Lightroom 3.4 and EOS-600D tethered shooting?

Picked up a 600D recently (to replace my old 10D) and have been having some fun with it...

Paid for the latest Lightroom 3.4 upgrade (as that was effectively mandatory to process the 600D's RAW images efficiently) but was disapointed to see that the tethered camera support hasn't yet been implemented for the 600D...

I've tried Googling but cannot find any news or discussion on when it might be fixed... Any info out there?

I can't believe that more people aren't obviously annoyed by this!

I might be missing something as I don't use lightroom, but why not shoot tethered using the DPP app that comes with the camera and then just process the RAW files in lightroom.

I have tried the Canon tethered shooting application but will look forward to the eventual upgrade of Lightroom which should make it possible from within that app.

Hard to beleive that it was just appears an 'oversight' with the last update that they made all the necessary changes to allow 600D RAW file processing but 'overlooked' the tethered shooting compatibility... The 550D is supported so presumably it's just a matter of time but here's hoping that it'll be part of a free update and that I don't have to pay again for the next big upgrade for a while at least..

Will also look at that other forum for news and search for 60D users who may be facing the similar frustration! thank you.
