2012 Bikes.. when are they launched?

I'm always one for snapping up a bargain and i'm sure there will be some cut price 2011 bikes to be had soon..

I'm after a freeride/ downhill bike for a trip to the alps on 28th Aug.. will 2012 bikes be out before then?

Otherwise i'll pick up last 2010 deal.. but there isn't much available..

Nowish. Times are tight though so the manufacturers are keeping stocks low so not that many bargains to be had...good luck!

You might get lucky but the sales don't normally start until late summer/ early autumn. The bikes may be annouced soonish but there won't be any stock in dealers until that time.

as i said in another post, the big trade show in the US is interbike in the first week of september so i doubt you will see them in UK shops before then and even that will be a few weeks early for a full stock of sizes... wait until spring 2012 when you will get a deal on the last few 2011 bikes if the last few years are anythign to go by, spec goes down, price goes up....

Sounds like i'm going to have to pick from whats available at the moment in the shops.. Bit of a shame, but the 2010 spec bikes are going at decent prices..
