hot start problem

I know this has been mention before but I am struggling to find the thread, my s1 (2.8) won't start when hot in fact it barely turns over any help would be great

Probably not the yellow connecter as that normally dsent allow the engine to start but turns over fine

I still have the dreaded yellow connector, and keep a very close eye on it too, however wouldnt it hamper starting all the time not just when hot?

If you have starting problems you need to know whether the problem is with the starter motor, or the battery, or the wiring between them. The way to tell is to measure the voltage across the battery and across the starter motor when it begins cranking.
