It was good to get to my first TVRCC race of the year, and despite slightly worrying weather forecasts it turned out to be a great day!

I saw most of the race through the view finder of my camera, but what I did see was very exciting! Simon Bowes and Paul Glynn in the two Griffiths had a great battle for the lead throughout the race, and there were a couple of other good dices down the field.

There may have only been 10 or so cars out there, but the quality of racing made up for the lack of quantity, so if you get the chance to go and watch any of the remaining races this year, do so!

It was also great to see such a professional looking paddock, with the trucks of Moore Racing and TMS acting as a focal point for the rest of the competitors to group around, and also for a number of road going TVRs which were parked up nearby and putting on a good display!

It was great to meet you at last Ed.

Glad you enjoyed the weekend. It seems that interest is building in the series and I keep hearing that more cars are being prepared for battle.

I noticed your splitter had a (slight) chip in it. Never got round to asking you about it. Did you do that on your way to Snett?

Seeing as it's now damaged, maybe you should enter it in the Challenge Cup. I cant halp thinking that a Black Tuscan with Black wheels competing against the rest of us would get the cameras clicking.

No - I took a chunk out of the splitter a few months ago over a speed hump, but I'm getting a new one fitted on Saturday, so won't be entering it into the series I'm afraid!
