ALL THE USAL SUSPECTS
Really?I don't mind buying old bits and grazing my knuckles fitting them, but there is a place for everything.
I'm going to nip down to my local car showroom and ask them to replace all of their shiny bits in their shop window with the old oily / rusty cack they just taken off the last car serviced there.

You need to add a profession.
I don't need to get out more either, just not sift through a load of crap when I'm trying to find a used car. I used to buy salvage cars years ago, but found that it wasn't worth the cost of rebuilding them as the sums just didn't add up. These days you get a marker on the log book too, so no chance of selling on a repaired car for a decent price as everyone expects a good discount for the Cat C/D cars.
On eof the usual suspects here. Careful or some people who live in a certain area of the country will start personalising this ie anything remotely negative regarding scrap yards and then the personalised abuse starts.
On the positive front they do provide parts to keep our cars on the road. Thanks for that.

Agree. Breakers have been / still are a life saver for me in my quest to keep the old plastic bath tubs on the road.On the positive front they do provide parts to keep our cars on the road. Thanks for that.
But lets keep the salvage adds where they belong though!

However, I agree with the thanks for helping keep our cars on the road (although it's a long time since I found anything for my RS2000 in a scrap yard it might be the case once I get a TVR).Gassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
