faulty nearside indicators

fuses fine hazzards all work fine but still no joy in selecting left turn at the stalk,any help on this matter
will be greatly appreciated,considering a glove on stick if not resolved soon!!many thanks.ps just been quoted
£130 for a replacement stalk,what do you think about that?

possible replacement stalk from ebay - they still come up occasionally, I have a spare you could borrow for tests if you like...

other thought is do you still have a yellow connector ?

Not a lot !

Its from a Ford Sierra, bought the pair recently for £30 on ebay, used but VG condition (all the graphics perfect).

Its an OEM part, comes in a green Lucas box and you can see where the ford logo has been melted off.

Nothing to do with indicators but it does overheat and burn out



and it makes the car break down - should be removed and replaced with new heavier duty connector or better still remove and re-wire hard connected

BTW have got a spare indicator switch S/H in good nick, drop me a PM if interested

Had the same issue when I took Old Red out of mothballs in the spring (except was RH) It was the indicator stalk that had got a bit sticky and contaminated. Operated a few times and all was fine.
